Chien-Wei Masaki Lin, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His research focuses on developing computational methods for single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data, particularly addressing dropout events through consensus clustering and contrastive learning-based imputation approaches. He also investigates gene expression dynamics in developmental biology, including human epiblast and eye development models, and integrates bioinformatics with systems biology to study immune responses and chromatin state regulation in hypertension. His recent work includes the CCI and DropDAE algorithms for scRNA-seq data quality, alongside collaborative studies on renal segment chromatin maps. Lin maintains extensive international collaborations across the US, Canada, China, Korea, France, and Taiwan, contributing to advancements in biostatistics and genomics.
