Amy Turner is a Research Scientist I at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on molecular genetics and pharmacogenomics, particularly the characterization of DNA reference materials for pharmacogenetic (PGx) and HLA testing. She has led efforts to develop and validate reference materials for DPYD genotyping, clarifying the HapB3 haplotype structure and its implications for pharmacogenomic testing. Her recent work includes the GeT-RM Program PGx Search Tool and consolidated PGx and HLA tables, published in the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics. Turner collaborates extensively with international partners, including the University of Salzburg, Erasmus MC, and the University of Otago, alongside US institutions such as the CDC and Mayo Clinic.
