Yinyin Yuan is a High Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research integrates pathology, oncology, and cancer imaging to investigate the tumor microenvironment, tumor biology, and immunology, with a particular focus on breast cancer. Her latest work employs artificial intelligence and spatial omics to enhance predictive modeling, including using tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes to predict pathologic complete response in early-stage triple-negative breast cancer and developing a unified framework for cross-platform spatial analysis. She has also contributed to studies on tumor growth dynamics, glandular segmentation for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma grading, and radiomics-based prediction in lung adenocarcinoma. Her research is published in venues such as British Journal of Cancer, Cell Reports Medicine, and Clinical Cancer Research.
