Warren Fiskus is an Assistant Professor of Leukemia at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on therapeutic targets and pharmacology in myeloid neoplasia, particularly acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myeloproliferative neoplasms. He investigates epigenetic dependencies, including BET proteins and BRG1/BRM chromatin remodelers, to overcome menin inhibitor resistance and target MECOM-rearranged AML. His recent work also explores BCL-xL degraders for JAK2-mutated post-MPN AML and tasquinimod-based combinations for blastic-phase disease. His findings have been published in Blood, Leukemia, and HemaSphere.
