Vinod Ravi is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he specializes in oncology, sarcoma, and cancer research. His work integrates pathology, radiation oncology, pharmacology, and immunology to advance cancer treatment. His latest research focuses on targeted therapies for tenosynovial giant cell tumours, as demonstrated by the international phase 3 MANEUVER trial of pimicotinib published in *The Lancet* (2026), and on leiomyosarcoma, including spatial RNA–protein profiling of antibody–drug conjugate targets and barriers to clinical trial enrollment. He also investigates TGF-beta inhibition via oncolytic infection (BETA-PRIME trial) and the sensitization of tumours to immune checkpoint blockade by SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines, with findings published in *Nature* (2025). His work has appeared in *Journal of Clinical Oncology*, *Cancer Research*, and *Frontiers in Immunology*, reflecting his leadership in translational sarcoma research and international collaborations.
