Postdoctoral Residency Fellow in the Department of Medicine
Trevor Nash is a Postdoctoral Residency Fellow in the Department of Medicine at Columbia University. His research integrates biomedical engineering, cardiovascular biology, and immunology to develop advanced in vitro models of human disease. He specializes in organ-on-a-chip platforms and engineered cardiac tissues, with recent work focusing on optogenetic modulation of endothelial barriers, macrophage-mediated enhancement of contractile force in iPSC-derived cardiac tissue, and modeling ischemia-reperfusion injury and SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis. His publications include studies in Cell Reports, Nature Cardiovascular Research, and PNAS, and his work advances regenerative medicine and drug screening applications.
