Taiwo Adesoye is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on breast surgical oncology, specifically investigating therapy de-escalation strategies, including sentinel lymph node biopsy omission for early-stage, node-negative HR+/HER2− breast cancer. Her recent work validates prognostic tools like the CTS5 for invasive lobular carcinoma and evaluates novel agents, including zanidatamab and sacituzumab govitecan, in real-world settings. She also explores telemedicine’s role in expanding access to early-phase oncology trials, contributing to global equity in cancer care.
