Niharika Sravan is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Drexel University. She earned her PhD in Physics and Astronomy from Northwestern University in 2018, following a B.Arch. with a minor in Physics from IIT Kharagpur. Her research focuses on time-domain and multimessenger astrophysics, specifically core-collapse supernovae, their progenitor mass-loss histories, and the discovery of electromagnetic counterparts to gravitational-wave sources. She has led JWST surveys of the supernova remnant Cassiopeia A and developed machine-learning tools for supernova classification. Sravan was an IDEAS Data-Science Fellow and has held postdoctoral positions at Caltech and Purdue University.
