Sohang Kundu is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Department of Chemistry at Columbia University. He earned his B.Sc. from Presidency University Kolkata (2015), a Master’s from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2017), and a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2023). His research focuses on quantum dynamics, excitation energy transfer, and electronic-vibrational coupling, employing real-time path integral methods and machine learning potentials. Recent work includes diabatic states of charge transfer, electric field catalysis, and quantum information scrambling in chemical reactions. He received the Justin Jankunas Doctoral Dissertation Award from the American Physical Society (2024).
