Siqin Ye is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. His research focuses on the intersection of cardiology, mental health, and health services, particularly the management of heart failure, hypertension, and comorbid depression in cardiac populations. Recent work includes developing AI models to detect structural heart disease from electrocardiograms (Nature, 2025), evaluating remote patient monitoring for hypertension control, and leading the IHEART DEPCARE hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial to optimize depression care for cardiac patients. He also investigates healthcare operations, such as outpatient clinic visit completion, and implementation science strategies to improve cardiovascular and mental health outcomes.
