Shankargouda Patil

Shankargouda Patil is a Senior Professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences. His research focuses on oral pathology and oncology, particularly the molecular mechanisms of oral cancer, salivary and serum liquid biopsy biomarkers for HPV-associated oropharyngeal malignancies, and the malignant transformation of oral proliferative leukoplakia. He also investigates the application of artificial intelligence and large language models in dental education and clinical practice, alongside cone beam computed tomography analysis in orthodontics.
