Ruitao Lin is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on biostatistics and oncology, specializing in Bayesian analysis, optimal experimental design, and the development of innovative clinical trial methodologies. His recent work includes novel two-stage designs for restricted mean survival time, Bayesian autoregressive phase 1-2 designs for cell therapy trials, and generalized pairwise comparisons for multi-outcome dose optimization. He has also investigated genomic determinants of radiation necrosis in diffuse gliomas and the comparative logistics of preoperative versus postoperative stereotactic radiation therapy. His findings have appeared in leading journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, Statistics in Medicine, and Clinical Cancer Research.
