His research focuses on G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), beta-arrestins, and signal transduction, with recent work elucidating G protein coupling specificity, biased agonism at the β2-adrenergic receptor, and beta-arrestin-mediated Src activation via cryo-electron microscopy. His 2024 publications include reviews in *Circulation Research* and the *Journal of Clinical Investigation*, alongside structural studies in *Science Advances*. He has received numerous NIH grants supporting his work on beta-arrestins and GPCR kinases in cardiovascular function, and collaborates extensively with institutions across the US, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and China.
