Qiang Shen

Qiang Shen is a Professor at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans. His research focuses on cancer biology, molecular oncology, and tumor pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on breast cancer, oncogene signaling, and tumor microenvironment reprogramming. Recent breakthroughs include investigating niclosamide-derived compounds to enhance immunotherapy in triple-negative breast cancer, elucidating the oncogenic role of MitoNEET in breast cancer, and advancing targeted protein degradation strategies such as DUBTACs and RIPTACs for precision cancer therapy. His work also explores KRAS resistance mechanisms, p53 Y220C mutant stabilization, and circRNA-driven prostate cancer progression.
