Pavlos Msaouel is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on genitourinary cancers, particularly clear-cell renal cell carcinoma, renal medullary carcinoma, and malignant rhabdoid tumors. He investigates prognostic biomarkers such as KIM-1 and circulating tumor DNA, Bayesian reanalysis of phase III oncology trials, CXCL13-CXCR5 signaling in CD8⁺ T cell recruitment, and immunogenomic determinants of exceptional response to immune checkpoint inhibition. His recent publications appear in European Urology, Nature Cancer, and Cancer Cell.
