Nora Gray is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University. Her research focuses on molecular neurodegeneration, particularly Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, emphasizing mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and the neuropharmacology of *Centella asiatica* compounds. Recent work includes investigating asiatic acid’s effects on cognitive function and mitochondrial pathways in 5xFAD mice, developing CD74 inhibitors to improve memory, and identifying α-klotho as a cerebrospinal fluid biomarker for amyloid beta. She also co-authored 2025 pre-analytical guidelines for blood and CSF biomarkers and explores vitamin B6-dependent kynurenine pathway dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease.
