Neema Navai is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center specializing in urologic oncology. His research focuses on bladder cancer and genitourinary malignancies, with particular emphasis on radical cystectomy, surgical outcomes, and multimodal treatment strategies. Recent work includes phase I/II trials combining radiotherapy with enfortumab vedotin for locally advanced bladder cancer, spatial mapping of muscle-invasive bladder cancer evolution, and metastasis-directed radiotherapy for oligometastatic urothelial carcinoma. He has also investigated neoadjuvant immunotherapy combinations for cisplatin-ineligible patients and prognostic comparisons between upfront cystectomy and BCG therapy in very-high-risk non-muscle invasive disease. His translational research integrates circulating tumor DNA analysis and whole-organ spatial profiling to advance precision oncology.
