Natalie Vokes is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on lung cancer genomics, cancer immunotherapy, and radiation oncology, with a particular emphasis on immune checkpoint inhibition in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Her recent work integrates multimodal data and ensemble machine learning to classify treatment responsesholistically, and explores drug resistance mechanisms via keratin 17+ persister populations in EGFR-mutant NSCLC. She has pioneered the OncoTwin digital twin framework for predicting treatment response in ALK-rearranged NSCLC, and investigates myeloid IL-1 signaling in the precancer-to-cancer evolution of pulmonary nodules. Her contributions span clinical trial design, including the MountainTAP-29 study of BMS-986504 plus pembrolizumab in MTAP-deleted metastatic NSCLC.
