Nancy S. Reau

Nancy S. Reau is a Senior Professor at Rush University. Her research focuses on viral hepatitis, particularly hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment optimization, cost-effectiveness of universal childhood screening, and metabolic dysfunction-associated liver disease. Recent work includes predicting sustained virologic response at week 4 with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir, implementing MASH screening guidelines in primary care, and strategic collaborations to close gaps in HCV care. She has also published on hepatic encephalopathy management and post-COVID-19 cholangiopathy in liver transplant recipients.
