Nancy D. Perrier is a Professor of Surgical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on endocrine surgical oncology, specifically the surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1), and adrenocortical carcinoma. Her recent work has established best-practice guidelines for MEN1 and hypoparathyroidism, investigated blood-based neoantigen signatures for neuroendocrine tumor progression, and examined the surgical role of multivisceral resection in metastatic adrenocortical carcinoma. She has also contributed to studies on germline RET pathogenic variants and the impact of state legislation on congenital anomalies. Her work integrates surgical outcomes with molecular pathology to advance precision care for patients with complex endocrine malignancies.
