Michael Ogunbunmi is a Senior Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana. His research focuses on condensed matter physics and materials science, specifically investigating the synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic properties of advanced inorganic compounds, including Zintl phases and complex ternary arsenides. His recent work has produced new candidate thermoelectric materials, such as Yb10CdSb9 and Yb14CdSb11, and explored complex magnetic ordering in noncentrosymmetric metals like PrCuGe3. His publications appear in leading venues, including the Journal of Applied Physics, Chemistry of Materials, and Inorganic Chemistry.
