Lucia Masarova is an Associate Professor and Co-Leader of the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Session at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on the pharmacology and clinical management of myeloid neoplasia, particularly myelofibrosis, polycythemia vera, and acute myeloid leukemia. Her recent work includes pharmacological profiling of pacritinib for myelofibrosis, integrated genomic analyses of core-binding factor AML, and real-world studies on secondary malignancies in polycythemia vera. She has also contributed to clinical program analyses of ropeginterferon alfa-2b in essential thrombocythemia and investigations of JAK2-mutated neutrophils. Her translational research bridges molecular responses, patient-reported outcomes, and novel therapeutic strategies in hematological malignancies.
