Linghua Wang is an Associate Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where her research integrates immunology, tumor biology, and molecular cancer pathology. Her work focuses on deciphering the spatial and cellular architecture of the tumor microenvironment using single-cell and multimodal spatial omics. Recent breakthroughs include mapping transcriptomic plasticity in metastatic pancreatic cancer and identifying conserved spatial subtypes of cancer-associated fibroblasts, both published in *Nature* and *Cancer Cell* in 2025. She has also pioneered MISO, a computational framework for resolving tissue complexity, and uncovered mechanisms linking sickle cell disease to suppressed anti-tumor immunity. Her findings on PPP2R1A mutations as predictors of immunotherapy response have significant translational implications.
