Lingegowda Selanere Mangala is a High Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on ovarian and endometrial cancer biology, particularly tumor immunogenicity, angiogenesis, and therapeutic resistance. His recent work has identified EGFL6 as a target for reprogramming tumor immunogenicity in ovarian cancer and explored epigenetic modulation of BARD1 and CD5L to overcome adaptive resistance to anti-VEGF therapy. He has also investigated EphA2- and HDAC-targeted combination therapies for endometrial cancer. His contributions span molecular biology, pharmacology, and oncogene research, with publications in Nature Communications, Cell Reports Medicine, and Cancer Research.
