Adjunct Professor of Physics
Leslie Camilleri is an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Columbia University. His research centers on instrumentation and applied physics, with a focus on the development and analysis of liquid argon time projection chambers for neutrino physics. He is an active member of the MicroBooNE and SBND collaborations at Fermilab, contributing to detector simulation, photon detection systems, and timing resolution advancements. His recent work includes measurements of charged pion production, mesonless cross sections, and η meson production in neutrino-argon interactions, as well as studies of radon progeny in liquid argon. His publications span Physical Review Letters, Physical Review D, and the European Physical Journal C.
