Lei Huo is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on breast cancer, integrating cancer biology, pathology, and advanced imaging to improve clinical outcomes. Her recent work employs deep learning models and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI to predict pathologic complete response to neoadjuvant therapy in triple-negative breast cancer. She has also developed the HAI-score, an artificial intelligence method for HER2 quantification, and investigates predictive biomarkers for immune checkpoint and PARP inhibitors in advanced breast carcinoma.
