Katy Rezvani is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on cancer immunotherapy, cellular therapy, and immunology, with a particular emphasis on engineered natural killer (NK) cells for hematologic and solid malignancies. Her recent work includes developing CD70-targeting CAR NK cells to overcome BCMA downregulation in high-risk multiple myeloma, metabolically supercharged NK cells engineered with adenoviral E4ORF-1, and TGF-β-receptor type 2 knockout allogeneic NK cells for renal cell carcinoma. She also leads clinical trials involving TROP2 CAR engineered IL-15-transduced cord blood-derived NK cells for advanced solid tumors. Rezvani has received funding for adoptive immunotherapy using cord blood-derived NK cells for leukemia and collaborates internationally on transplantation and cellular therapy research.
