Kamran Awan

Kamran Awan is a Senior Professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences. His research focuses on oral pathology, oral medicine, and oral cancer, with specific interests in malignant transformation of oral proliferative leukoplakia, artificial intelligence applications in dental education, and 3D-printed models for endodontic training. His recent work includes a computational approach to decoding genes regulating the malignant potential of oral proliferative leukoplakia (2025) and systematic reviews on generative AI in dental education and probiotic adjuncts for chronic periodontitis. He has contributed to research on game-based oral health education for children and the relationship between sleep quality and scholastic performance in dental students.
