Juntao Luo

Juntao Luo is a Professor of Pharmacology and Associate Professor of Surgery at Upstate Medical University. His research centers on pharmaceutical nanotechnology, specifically the rational design of telodendrimer-based nanocarriers for controlled drug release and targeted delivery. His recent work focuses on immune-modulating nanodrugs, including TLR4 nanoblockers for ovarian cancer therapy, liver-targeted mRNA delivery systems, and nanogel-based nanotraps for sepsis treatment. He has also developed nano-formulations of Sparstolonin B for lung injury and coaxial electrospray microparticles for intrapulmonary delivery. His contributions bridge biomolecular engineering and immunology to advance translational nanomedicine.
