His research focuses on cancer biology, with a specific emphasis on thoracic oncology, biomarker discovery, and early cancer detection. His recent work includes validating blood-based assays for multi-cancer risk stratification in lung cancer screening cohorts, investigating the utility of CA19-9 for predicting asymptomatic pancreatic cancer in patients with new-onset diabetes, and exploring the impact of dietary fiber on bile acid metabolism in melanoma patients receiving immunotherapy.
