Joanne Kwak-Kim is a High Senior Professor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Her research focuses on reproductive immunology, specifically immune-mediated mechanisms in recurrent pregnancy loss, preeclampsia, and reproductive failure. She investigates endometrial immune dysregulation, lipid metabolism, and T-cell immunity, pioneering targeted immunotherapies and biologic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs for reproductive disorders. Notably, she co-authored the 2025 ASRI guidelines for recurrent pregnancy loss treatment and has advanced understanding of fetal and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia. Her recent work integrates molecular genetic endometrial phenotyping with histological assessment, positioning her as a leading authority in clinical reproductive immunology and women's health.
