Jens U. Berli, M.D., M.B.A., is a Senior Professor at Oregon Health & Science University. His research focuses on reconstructive microsurgery, gender-affirming surgical care, and transgender health, with specific interests in phalloplasty techniques, metoidioplasty, and patient-reported outcome measures. He has recently published on shaft-only phalloplasty modifications, the Big Ben method for long-term urologic outcomes, and a Delphi consensus study on urethral lengthening. His work also addresses surgical education through virtual simulation and women's health.
