Jason Johnson is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he specializes in neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, and advanced cancer imaging. His research focuses on optimizing treatment paradigms for brain metastases and meningiomas, including dose-escalated intensity-modulated proton therapy, stereotactic radiation therapy timing, and the clinical application of dual-energy CT and novel PET tracers such as 18F-FDG and 18F-fluciclovine for tumor volume assessment and recurrence detection. He has led prospective trials and authored consensus statements on integrating neuro-PET into neuroradiology practice, with recent publications in Clinical Cancer Research, JAMA Oncology, and the Journal of Neuro-Oncology. His international, multispecialty collaborations address preoperative imaging accuracy and treatment logistics.
