Jane Bulger

Jane Bulger is a Senior Professor at Upstate Medical University. Her research integrates diabetes care, neuroscience, and public health, focusing on diabetes mellitus management in adolescents and young adults. Her recent work explores plasma biomarkers of neurodegeneration and their associations with type 1 diabetes characteristics and glycemia, as well as cognitive vulnerability to glucose fluctuations as a digital phenotype of neurodegeneration. She has also investigated automated insulin delivery benefits in type 2 diabetes, psychosocial predictors of diabetes self-efficacy, and medication adherence in youth-onset type 2 diabetes.
