Huong T. Le-Petross is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in breast imaging and oncology. Her research focuses on inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), utilizing advanced imaging modalities such as ultrasound, PET/CT, and MRI to predict treatment responses and survival outcomes. She has pioneered deep learning models based on pretreatment MRI to forecast pathologic complete response in triple-negative breast cancer, and developed a multi-institutional diagnostic score for IBC. Her recent work also explores the impact of radiotherapy on the tumor genome and immune ecosystem, alongside evaluating therapeutic responses to CDK4/6 inhibition in metastatic disease.
