Hun Ju Lee is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on hematological malignancies, specifically Hodgkin lymphoma and follicular lymphoma, with an emphasis on novel immunotherapeutic combinations, including brentuximab vedotin and nivolumab, and circulating tumor DNA assessment. His recent work has demonstrated the efficacy of nivolumab plus ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide as a first salvage regimen for high-risk relapsed/refractory Hodgkin lymphoma. He has also investigated immune-mediated diseases post-transplantation and prognostic factors for mortality in cancer patients with COVID-19.
