Gordon Mills, M.D., Ph.D., is a Senior Professor at Oregon Health & Science University. A leader in cancer research and molecular oncology, his work integrates cancer biology, oncogene signaling, and pharmacology to advance precision therapies. His recent breakthroughs include developing scSurvival for single-cell clinical cohort analysis and DrBioRight 2.0, an LLM-powered bioinformatics chatbot for functional proteomics. He has also defined Cyclin E1/CDK2 activation as a vulnerability to WEE1 inhibition in gynecological cancers and demonstrated that mitigating T cell DNA damage enhances PARP inhibitor efficacy. His research further spans single-cell states in metastatic breast cancer and replication stress in pancreatic cancer recurrence, supported by extensive international collaborations.
