Fadi Haddad is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on leukemia, hematological malignancies, and myeloid neoplasia, with specific interests in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) treatment algorithms, Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL), and isocitrate dehydrogenase-mutated acute myeloid leukemia (AML). His recent work has advanced frontline triplet regimens combining hypomethylating agents, venetoclax, and IDH inhibitors, and explored treatment-free remission in nontransplanted Ph+ ALL patients. He has published extensively in journals including Blood Cancer Journal, Cancer, and Journal of Clinical Oncology, contributing to molecular characterization of relapse and contemporary therapy outcomes in secondary-type AML.
