R. Eric Davis is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research integrates immunology, oncology, and pharmacology, focusing on the molecular heterogeneity of lymphoid neoplasia and cancer immunotherapy. His recent work includes developing patient-derived xenograft repositories for large B-cell lymphoma, investigating CD40-responsive enhancer activation in CREBBP-mutant lymphomas, and exploring therapeutic strategies targeting B-cell receptor internalization and EZH2 inhibition in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. He also studies phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 as a metabolic regulator in lymphoma. His contributions span clinical trials, such as combining obinutuzumab with lenalidomide for follicular lymphoma, and mechanistic studies on CD8+ T-cell priming.
