Edward Stelow is a Professor of Pathology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his AP/CP residency and surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, followed by a cytopathology fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center. His research focuses on head and neck neoplasia and pancreatic tumor biology, with recent work elucidating cell surface plectin’s role in tumor-immune interactions in pancreatic cancer and characterizing NUT carcinoma as an unrecognized subtype of squamous cell carcinoma. He has published in Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology and Cancer Research, and maintains extensive international collaborations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
