Dr. Elliott Horch is a Senior Professor at Southern Connecticut State University specializing in observational stellar astrophysics, high-angular-resolution speckle interferometry, and exoplanetary systems. His research focuses on characterizing stellar multiplicity among nearby M and K dwarfs, binary star orbital dynamics, and the application of photon-counting techniques to stellar intensity interferometry. Recent work includes the POKEMON Speckle Survey of nearby M dwarfs, speckle imaging of quadruple eclipsing binaries identified by TESS, and JWST/NIRCam 4–5 μm imaging of the giant planet AF Lep b. He has led multiple NSF-funded collaborative projects, including the Sephira Project and the development of an Integral Field Unit Speckle Imager, with ongoing international collaborations through the NSF-BSF program.
