David T. Fuentes is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on medical imaging, radiation oncology, and cancer imaging, with specific interests in glioma segmentation, automatic contour quality assurance using deep-learning, and computed tomography-based predictive scoring for adrenocortical carcinoma. He develops multiscale computational models to predict and optimize breast cancer patient responses to neoadjuvant therapy, and explores image-guided in vivo chemistry using hydrophobic radiopaque formulations. His recent publications span deep-learning segmentation tools, including PocketNet for head and neck gross tumor volume delineation, and translational imaging approaches in molecular pharmaceutics.
