David Marin is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. A senior researcher in hematology and oncology, his work focuses on clinical stem cell transplantation, cellular therapy, and immunology, with particular emphasis on graft-versus-host disease prophylaxis and prognostic stratification in myeloid malignancies. His recent investigations include CAR NK-cell engineering to overcome antigen downregulation in multiple myeloma, regulatory checkpoints in NK-cell signaling, and the impact of TP53-mutant variant allele frequency on transplant outcomes in MDS/AML. He has also examined disparities in allograft access and long-term outcomes in FLT3-mutated acute myeloid leukemia. His findings have appeared in Nature, Blood Advances, and Haematologica.
