Daniel Hartung

Daniel Hartung is a Senior Professor at Oregon Health & Science University. His research focuses on health policy, health services research, and addiction medicine, with specific interests in opioid use disorder, substance use, and the commercial determinants of care in multiple sclerosis. His recent work examines industry payments to physicians and their influence on multiple sclerosis prescribing, alongside evaluations of pharmacy-based harm reduction and prescription drug monitoring program integration to reduce high-risk opioid prescribing.
