Corey T. Jensen is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging, particularly photon-counting detector CT, deep learning-based image reconstruction, and noise reduction for abdominal and oncologic imaging. His recent work characterizes three-dimensional noise in clinical photon-counting CT and evaluates detector performance using DICOM images. He also investigates AI ensemble techniques for colorectal cancer detection and the impact of patient body fat on false-positive rates. Jensen has published extensively on deep learning CT reconstruction algorithms and their clinical applications in abdominal imaging and radiation oncology.
