Constance T. Albarracin is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. A senior faculty member in the Department of Pathology, her research focuses on breast oncology, tumor biology, oncogenes, and molecular cancer genetics. Her recent investigations center on clinically actionable biomarkers including HER2-low expression and tumor suppressor gene status, with published work on breast adenoid cystic carcinoma, ARID1A/GATA3 mutations in metastatic ER-positive/HER2-negative carcinoma, homologous recombination repair defects in advanced BRCA mutation carriers, and RNA fusions as immunogenic neoantigen sources across breast cancer subtypes.
