Clinton Yam is an Associate Professor of Breast Medical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on developing novel therapeutic strategies and predictive biomarkers for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), inflammatory breast cancer, and neoadjuvant systemic therapy. His recent work includes leading trials combining sacituzumab govitecan with pembrolizumab for advanced and early-stage TNBC, investigating circulating immune correlates and ultrasensitive ctDNA-based minimal residual disease monitoring to predict relapse, and employing AI-derived tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte analysis to enhance pathologic complete response prediction. His findings have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, Clinical Cancer Research, and JCO Precision Oncology.
