Claudia Toledo-Corral is a Senior Professor at California State University, Northridge. Her research integrates environmental health, epidemiology, and maternal health, with a focus on how prenatal environmental exposures—including air pollution and heat stress—influence maternal and child outcomes. Her recent work, largely based on the MADRES cohort in urban Los Angeles, examines associations between third-trimester diet and prenatal depression, gestational blood pressure trajectories and long-term postpartum hypertension risk, and prenatal psychosocial stressors on infant body composition. She also investigates adolescent health, including substance use and bullying victimization among immigrant youth. Her publications appear in leading journals such as *Environmental Research*, *Hypertension*, and *Addictive Behaviors*.
