Christopher P. Mill is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on leukemia biology, oncogene dependencies, and novel therapeutic targets in myeloid neoplasia, with particular emphasis on MECOM-rearranged and MLL1-rearranged acute myeloid leukemia (AML). His recent work has identified highly effective combination strategies involving BET inhibitors, dual BRG1/BRM inhibitors, and menin inhibitors to overcome resistance in high-risk AML models. He has also demonstrated preclinical efficacy of tasquinimod-based combinations in advanced myeloproliferative neoplasms and investigated omacetaxine plus venetoclax in relapsed/refractory AML with mutant RUNX1. His publications appear in leading journals including Blood, Leukemia, and Blood Advances.
