Christopher L. Corless is Professor Emeritus of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. His research focuses on cancer genomics, tumor biology, and molecular oncology, with particular emphasis on oncogene-driven malignancies and resistance mechanisms. Recent work includes genomic characterization of MEIS1::NCOA1 primitive spindle cell sarcoma of the kidney, digital spatial transcriptomic analysis of gliosarcoma components, and multi-omic profiling of immune checkpoint inhibition in clear cell renal cell carcinoma. He has investigated KRAS-MEK pathway resistance in metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and contributed to clinical trials in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and BRCA-wildtype triple negative breast cancer. His translational studies bridge molecular pathology with therapeutic response prediction.
